The House of Representatives passed and sent to President Bush the Senate financial services bailout bill this afternoon, 263–171.

U.S. Reps. Tom Petri (R–Fond du Lac) and Steve Kagen (D–Appleton) both voted against the bill.

The bill passed the Senate 74–25 Wednesday, with U.S. Sen. Herb Kohl (D–Wisconsin) voting for it and U.S. Sen. Russ Feingold (D–Wisconsin) opposed.
