Sara Lee, owner of Hillshire Farm, is introducing Hillshire Farm Miller High Life Beer Brats.

The new brats contain the flavor of brats cooked in beer and can be prepared in only a fraction of the time.

“Bringing together the great tastes of brats and beer has been a long standing tradition that began to take shape with our consumers,” said Tim Roush, vice president of lunch and dinner brands for Hillshire Farm, which has a facility in New London. “By teaming up with one of America’s most popular beers to create Hillshire Farm Miller High Life Beer Brats, we’ve made it even easier for consumers to enjoy quality beer brats, bursting with flavor.”

Hillshire Farm is also introducing another product, Hot & Spicy Italian Style Smoked Sausage.

Both Hillshire Farm Miller High Life Beer Brats and Hot & Spicy Italian Style Smoked Sausage will be hitting the road this spring when they take part in the Char-Broil Tour through Nov. 15. The tour will stop at food, music, racing, sporting and miscellaneous events and festivals across the nation, where they will be conducting cooking demonstrations and offering grilling tips and free samples.
