St. Norbert College in De Pere has reached agreements for partnerships with two other colleges. St. Norbert and Bay de Noc Community College, which has campuses in Escanaba and Iron Mountain, Mich., have established an articulation agreement that begins in the fall of 2009. Students who begin their studies at Bay de Noc Community College and follow a defined program of study will have a seamless transfer to St. Norbert. The programs of study with have transferability of credits are Accounting, Art, Biology with Biomedical Concentration, Biology with Organismal Biology Concentration, Business Administration, Communication and Media Studies, Economics, Environmental Science, General Studies, Mathematics, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology and Sociology with Human Services. St. Norbert College and Michigan Technological University also will begin an engineering academic partnership in the fall of 2009. Students will have the opportunity to take pre-engineering courses at St. Norbert for two years followed by a transitional summer period of two or three courses at Michigan Tech to prepare students for their final two years of course work at Michigan Tech. (The Geological engineering program requires two summers of course work.) St. Norbert will be teaching engineering courses using Michigan Tech standards. The engineering partnership includes Chemical, Mechanical, Material Science, Electrical, Geological, Civil, Bio-Medical and Environmental engineering majors. St. Norbert also has partnerships with Bellin College of Nursing, Marquette University in Milwaukee, and UW–Oshkosh.
