Weidner Center Presents, Inc. has announced its 2009–10 Stage Doors Educational Series at the Weidner Center for the Performing Arts at UW–Green Bay.

Entering its third season under the direction of Weidner Center Presents Inc., the program provides learning opportunities for students in pre-kindergarten through 12th grade throughout Wisconsin and Upper Michigan.

The new 2009-2010 Season kicks-off in October and extends through April 2010, featuring 10 titles and a total of 20 performances. Programs are selected to compliment current classroom curriculums with creative and imaginative learning, critical thinking opportunities and live performance experiences. Performance-specific study guides are provided to help teachers integrate show topics into classroom activities.

New this year is a special partnership with Heritage Hill State Historial Park, adding an interactive, hands-on element to the October performances of Laura Ingalls Wilder. For just $10, students and teachers can experience a full day of Laura Ingalls Wilder activities by visiting both the Weidner Center and Heritage Hill on Oct. 14.
