An estimated 400 people had to be turned away from a free community outreach held Wednesday evening of this week because of limited seating at the Kaukauna High School auditorium.

Due to the overwhelming response, Life Promotions will be presenting an additional free outreach to accommodate all those who wished to attend, but couldn’t because of limited space. The event will once again feature a hope-filled message by speaker Bob Lenz, along with opening entertainer AJ the Animated Illusionist. This free event will take place at the Kaukauna High School auditorium today from 7 to 9 p.m.

The original programs presented earlier this week were in response to several recent tragedies in the community of Kaukauna. Parents and school administrators worked with Appleton-based youth organization, Life Promotions, to provide several secular school assembly programs and a parent program that addressed teen suicide and provided tools for parents to connect with their children. The free faith-based outreach was sponsored by local businesses, parents and churches, and provided a way for others in the community to come along side students to show their support and love.

Local churches will once again provide free pizza and opportunities for follow-up to those who are interested. AJ the Animated Illusionist will open for Lenz with a new and expanded show. Lenz will share a message of hope and love that will highlight many of the points made earlier this week, but will also share additional insights and inspiration.

Lenz is founder and president of Life Promotions, a nonprofit organization based in the Fox Valley for more than 25 years with a mission to instill hope in youth. Lenz has spoken in all 50 states and has teamed up with School Districts, Student Councils, SADD, MADD, PTA, Beta Club, DECCA, FHA, 4-H, church groups and many other organizations that have an interest in effectively reaching teens with a relevant message of hope, love and value. Each year, Bob speaks to more than 350,000 young people across America through school programs and various youth events.
