The Wisconsin Department of Transportation Northeast Region office will hold a public information meeting to discuss the reconstruction of the Wisconsin 15/Outagamie County CB intersection.

Outagamie County will also be presenting plans for its County CB/County GV intersection project at this same meeting.

The meeting will be held at the Greenville Town Hall, W6860 Parkview Dr., Thursday, March 18 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Short presentations for both the WisDOT and Outagamie projects will begin at 5:45 p.m.

WisDOT is providing information on the proposed improvements and obtaining input that will assist the department in further development of the project. Two options being considered is either a roundabout or expanded traffic signals with slotted left-turn bays. New right-of-way may be required at the intersection but no buildings are planned to be purchased. The project is currently scheduled for construction in 2012.

Outagamie County is also planning to provide information and seek public input since it is considering building a roundabout or traffic signals for the reconstruction of the CB/GV intersection. New right-of-way may be required at the intersection because of the expansion. Impacts and modifications to some existing driveways adjacent to the county’s project are also expected, but again, no buildings are planned to be purchased. The project is also scheduled for construction in 2012.
