“Ready, Set, E-File! — Preparing and Planning for the New Form 5500 Requirements” is the title of a free online Webinar to be presented by Clifton Gunderson April 8.

Employee benefit plan experts Brenda Brandt, CPA, and Mickie Murphy, QPA, QKA, ERPA, will help organizations know what is expected of them as they prepare for online filing and other challenges related to Form 5500. The session will include tips and strategies on leveraging people and resources to implement the new requirement in your organization.

Brandt, Partner, Assurance Services, has more than 15 years of public accounting experience. She specializes in the planning and supervision of accounting engagements in various commercial and not-for-profit entities including: employee benefit plans, service corporations, distribution, manufacturing, hospitality and private clubs, telecommunications, healthcare and real estate. Murphy, Manager, Employee Benefit Services, has more than 25 years experience in the employee benefits field, providing administration, recordkeeping, compliance and government reporting for qualified retirement plans, including 401(k), profit sharing, pension and ESOP plans, as well as reporting and compliance for health and welfare plans.
