The Associated Press reports the City of Industry, Calif., has approved a proposal to build a stadium to attract an NFL team.

The developer of the privately funded stadium will begin shopping for a team around April 1. The developer (whose chairman and CEO is a part-owner of the Los Angeles Kings and Lakers and developed the Staples Center, where those teams play) is targeting “at least eight” teams, including the Minnesota Vikings, the Oakland Raiders and the Buffalo Bills.

I think my prediction of the Vikings' eventual departure from the Twin Cities got another piece of evidence in its favor.
