Doug Bergan, Organizational Compliance Leader with Goodwill Industries of North Central Wisconsin, recently earned certification as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). The certification, awarded by the HR Certification Institute, signifies that Bergan possesses the theoretical knowledge and practical experience in human resource management necessary to pass a rigorous examination demonstrating mastery of the body of knowledge in the field.

The Aurora Visiting Nurse Association has named Curtis W. Hancock, M.D., Aurora Sheboygan Clinic, as the Medical Director for Hospice for the Sheboygan branch of the Aurora Visiting Nurse Association. Dr. Hancock will be responsible for the medical oversight for each patient in the hospice program to ensure optimal pain and symptom management. He will also be a liaison to each patient’s primary care physician.

Fox Communities Credit Union announces employee anniversaries: Margaret Hohnberger, Consumer Loan Processor, 20 years; and Tammy Hagberg, Clintonville High School Credit Union Coordinator, and Heather Vanderheyden, Business Development Officer, 10 years.

Pat Hoogervorst, clinical director at Valley VNA Senior Services in Neenah, was among the award recipients at the 17th annual Nightingale Awards. The Nightingale Awards are given to direct-care nurses throughout Wisconsin who demonstrate excellence in clinical nursing practice. Hoogervorst has 30 years of experience in the nursing field. For the past six years, she has worked with the assisted living facility at Valley VNA where she is responsible for 60 residents while overseeing an additional 32 residents in the independent living facility. Hoogervorst oversees the development of assisted living services and supervises the administration of care.

Jeff Hatton has been appointed Portfolio Manager for Associated Wealth Management, Green Bay. Hatton brings more than twenty years of financial analysis and portfolio management experience to Associated Wealth Management. Hatton comes to Associated from JP Morgan, where he held various investment management positions, and was responsible for coordinating and implementing investment strategies and creating and managing portfolios for both agency and fiduciary accounts.
