Kerry Arent has been promoted to vice president of human resources for Appleton. She is responsible for leading the development and implementation of company’s human resources strategies for talent management, employee and labor relations, benefits, compensation, and compliance.

EuroPharma, Green Bay, has enlisted respected industry expert Cheryl Myers, R.N., to serve on its newly formed Education Council. The longtime health professional will conduct seminars across the country providing insights, articles and the latest research on today’s most popular natural medicines, as well as and up-and-coming products and ingredients. Myers is a registered nurse with clinical certifications in oncology and gerontology, and a degree in psychology. A recognized expert in the health and dietary supplement field, she previously served as Vice President of Health Sciences and Chief Technical Spokesperson for Enzymatic Therapy.

Michael Hsie, M.D., a radiation oncologist, has joined Aurora Medical Center in Oshkosh. Hsie received his medical degree from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago. He completed his internship in internal medicine at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center and completed his residency in radiation oncology at State University of New York Upstate Medical University. As a radiation oncologist, Hsie has an extensive background in radiotherapy techniques, including stereotactic radiosurgery, Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy, Image Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT) and unsealed radionuclide therapy.

Hermes Law, Ltd., Green Bay, has hired Anthony Steffek to focus on complex litigation and corporate lawsuits. Steffek graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and went on to earn his law degree from Marquette University Law School. Prior to joining Hermes Law, Ltd., Steffek practiced law at Denissen, Kranzush, Mahoney & Ewald, S.C., in Green Bay. Steffek serves on the board of directors of Group Purchasing Incorporated, the for-profit arm of the Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce, and also on the steering committee of Current Young Professionals Network.
